Keynote at the University of Glascow

Flourishing Spaces at GP Educator Day TALE 2025, University of Glasgow

The Flourishing Spaces team were honoured to be invited to the University of Glasgow for GP Educator Day TALE 2025, hosted by the inspiring GP Educator team led by Professor Lindsey Pope. It was a privilege to contribute to such a thoughtful and energising day through a keynote on Flourishing Spaces alongside some interactive workshops.

The day was rich with insight and creativity including:

  • Chris Tervit’s lovely introduction inviting participants to pause and think about language through three memorable words: tandsmør, boomerasking, and petrichor, each reminding us of the small but meaningful details that shape human experience.

  • Three wonderful student presentations and the student modelling of vulnurable leadership and envisioning on AI as part of future student learning by Professor Lindsey Pope

During the keynote, participants co-created an “At work, I feel cared for” poem, which was then performed live and later captured in written form. The poem highlighted the importance of the Human Dimension and the everyday actions, relationships, and environments that help people feel cared for, valued and supported.

Thank you to the University of Glasgow GP Educator team, the students, and all contributors for creating such a meaningful space for learning and flourishing.
